Friendly and helpful staff made our stay enjoyable. Spacious and clean rooms with ample storage for our belongings.- Convenient location close to local attractions and amenities.- Cooked breakfasts were excellent with a good variety of options.
Some small maintenance issues, such as a faulty net and flat pillows. Lack of attention to detail, particularly during a wedding event.

The hotel is in a nice quiet location but not far from the motorways.
Its unfortunate that the tap water has a notice saying not to drink it yet there is no bottled water in the rooms. Some of the light fittings did not work and had been left in that state with notices on them

Large room, large bathroom, lots of tv channels. Free parking, good range of food for breakfast
The sheets were old, were even torn in some areas; we couldn't connect to the free wi-fi; the reception gave us a password that would grant access for an hour. Internet worked for only 15 minutes at a low speed. The 2 waiters at breakfast have good intentions but it is obvious they lack training. We waited for 15 minutes to order the cooked food; asked for toast too - I never got it! The breakfast food was not refreshed, missed the last croissant, none were brought!

This hotel is a hidden gem in the South Yorkshire area. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the value for money. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The location, although not in the center of town, was perfect for our needs. We had a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. In addition, the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met. The basic amenities provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and our room, although with an un-inspiring view, was clean and well-equipped. The best part was the complimentary breakfast, which was delicious and a great way to start the day.
All was satisfactory and we had a wonderful stay.

The staff were very friendly and pleasant and the meal was served by a jolly and helpful waitress. The hotel is situated in a quiet village away from traffic noise, there is ample parking and the building is attractive from the outside.
The bathroom heater was not working so it was quite chilly in that room.Thre was a lot of building /decorating work going on in the hotel and bar and lounge were out of action. Should be much nicer when it is finished.

Great value for money. We really enjoyed our romantic escape here. the location was perfect for us as it was close to many attractions we wanted to visit. the staff were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. the room was spacious and comfortable, with nice amenities like a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi.
The breakfast was a bit disappointing. It wasn't as freshly cooked as we would have liked and the options were a bit limited.

I liked the reception by the night worker who was on duty. I also enjoyed the breakfast set up.
1. There was no air freshener in the toilet. 2. Given that the room was booked for a family, we found it awkward to find only two cups and insufficient resources to make tea and coffee. 3. In the bathroom, courtesy foam bath could have helped as on our first day we found out we had forgotten to bring some. 4.And lastly, it helps to put extra bedding in case the weather changes like it did for us and we became a little uncomfortable.

The resturant meal was excellent. The rooms were large and tastefully decorated.
They asked us to wait in the bar for a predinner drink while they got the table ready- I had booked it an hour before- we arrived- this was a ploy to get us to drink an extra glass before we started the meal. However- the meal when it arrived- was excellent.

Located in the South Yorkshire area, this hotel in Rotherham offers a convenient and accessible location for travelers. Guests appreciate the friendly and efficient staff, who promptly attended to any requests and provided excellent service throughout their stay. the rooms are well-furnished and decorated, exceeding expectations for the price. In Tanners restaurant, guests enjoyed a delicious dinner and an impressive breakfast spread, with a wide variety of options to choose from. On the night of their stay, everything went smoothly and without any issues.
While the hotel offers comfortable and well-appointed rooms, some guests noted that the beds could be more comfortable.

Very comfortable, friedly & helpful staff, excellent & real food - real chips, freah salad & fruit; seems to be almost no "processed" ingredients; breakfasts especially yummy.
Not a criticism, more an observation. Don't be in a hurry when dining in the evening as the delivery of your order will be somewhat relaxed although definitely worth it when it arrives. No such issues for brekkie, though - very prompt, hot & tasty!

Good food, excellent breakfast with wide selection including cooked. Attentive, friendly and very helpful staff.
Room was smallest I've ever stayed in, about 9 ft square, Decor & fittings very dated. Food although good, was priced at a premium, likewise with the bar. Very small selection of beers and no draught ales to speak of.

Wedding party, so disco till late, room in close proximity. Breakfast too late, so cold food buffet only, no hot drinks served either.
